and Immigrants on the Streets
of New York -

ABOUT THE EXHIBIT
When I arrived to America, the first approach to connect was difficult. The local New Yorkers were very polite, wanted to give me an opportunity but they did see me as an invader. It took almost five years to win their trust and respect through patience and hard work.
Those who believed and trusted in me from the start where the people who themselves or their parents had arrived like myself to New York from another place. The eternal travellers as I call them. Or as some refer to as, those who emigrated to America; the Immigrants.
In the eyes of the Immigrants on the streets of New York, I could see my personal desires and struggles but I could also feel how much they miss home same way I did.
In the eyes of the Immigrants on the streets of New York, I could see my personal desires and struggles but I could also feel how much they miss home same way I did.
It is because of those raw characters, that the streets of New York smell every day like Home.
This photography project is a Valentine to the Immigrants in America and the streets of New York as captured through the eye of my camera's lense and the eye of my heart -
